With the recent added restrictions, the library will be prohibiting use of the library conference rooms to just one person in each room.
Only additional people that are allowed in the meeting room at the same time are those that are part of the same household.
Masks are required in the library. All masks must cover your nose and mouth. Exceptions will be made for those that cannot wear one for medical reasons or children five and under.
Please limit your time in the library. We will stay open for book selection, circulation and computer use as long as possible, but we are attempting to minimize contact between patrons.
We love to see our patrons and want to keep them safe as well as our staff. Please keep in mind that “curbside pickup” and our digital library are also available.
Hours for the week of Thanksgiving are Nov. 23, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Nov. 24, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Nov. 25, 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and we will be closed Nov. 26 and 27. Happy Thanksgiving!
New Title Feature
We have added some new holiday novels to get you in the spirit. “Christmas at Holiday House” by RaeAnne Thayne; “A Dog’s Perfect Christmas”, by Cameron Bruce; “Happily This Christmas”, by Susan Mallery; “The Noel Letter”, by Richard Paul Evans; and “Jingle All The Way”, by Debbie Macomber. When you need a happy ending, these are the books for you!
In our children’s corner for the easy reader, author Jan Brett has written a new tale about a “Musk Ox in Alaska”. Cozy, with the softest, warmest fur becomes an unusual home to some clever animals during a storm. A lesson to all of sharing, friendship and living in harmony.
There are many new titles at the library for your reading pleasure. Stop in or look at our online catalog at www.manistiquelibrary.org (click on search for books and other library materials), give us a call at 341-4316, tell us what you would like, and we can bring them out to you curbside.
You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If the book is currently checked out, we can put a hold on it for you.
We are open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday and Friday.
We will still be doing “curbside pickup” service as well as “home delivery” for our at-risk patrons or any patrons that are uncomfortable with entering the library.
Our children’s section is open for book selection but still closed for use. We will keep it closed until we are certain it is a safe place for children.
