Default has occurred in a Mortgage, dated December 18, 2013,
made by Jessica J. Zellar (being
the same person formerly known
as Jessica J. Strom) and Jason
R. Strom, as mortgagors, to The
State Savings Bank of Manistique,
a Michigan banking corporation, as
mortgagee, and recorded on December 18, 2013 in the Office of
the Register of Deeds for Schoolcraft County, Michigan, as Document No. 201302724. No proceedings, legal or equitable, have been
instituted to recover all or any part
of the debt that is secured by the
Mortgage, and the amount of the
debt claimed to be due as of the
date of this notice is $112,602.54;
and the power of sale contained in
the Mortgage has become operative by reason of the default.
The Mortgage will be foreclosed by
a sale of the mortgaged property at
public auction to the highest bidder, on Friday December 18, 2020,
at 10:00 o’clock, a.m., at the front
entrance of the Schoolcraft County
Courthouse, in the City of Manistique, County of Schoolcraft, State
of Michigan, the place of holding
Circuit Court in said County. The
property will be sold to pay the
amount then due on the Mortgage,

together with interest at 5.20% per
annum, legal costs and attorney’s
fees permitted by law, and also
any taxes or insurance premiums
that the mortgagee pays before the
The mortgaged property is located
in the Township of Mueller, County
of Schoolcraft, State of Michigan,
and is more particularly described
as follows:
The North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of
the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 4, Township 43
North, Range 13 West.
Under Michigan Compiled Law
600.3278, if the mortgaged property is sold at the foreclosure sale,
the mortgagors and any other person liable on the mortgage will be
held responsible to the person or
entity who buys the property at the
mortgage foreclosure sale or to the
mortgage holder for damaging the
mortgaged property during the redemption period.
The length of the redemption period will be six (6) months from the
date of the sale.
